Steps to Update Your Password
- Open the website: Go to the site where you need a new password and log in.
- Go to settings: Find the Change Password or Security section on that website.
- Get old password: Click the Bitwarden icon in your browser, view the login item, and copy your current password if the website asks for it.
- Generate new password: Click Edit on that same Bitwarden item, click the circular arrows icon next to the password field to generate a strong new password, and accept the overwrite warning. | Reddit
- Save in Bitwarden: Click Save in Bitwarden to store the new password.
- Paste on the site: Copy the new password from Bitwarden, paste it into the new password and confirmation fields on the website, and submit your changes.
