Fall Car Show Ligonier, IN The beginning of Fashion Farm was in 1959, when Charles and Jane Williams purchased 200 acres known as "The Green Farm". The farm had been in the Green Family for 100 years. The name "Fashion Farm" came from a Red Pall cow that was a champion 4h calf purchased by Charles in 1931. "Old Fashion"'s picture can be seen several places throughout the farm. In 1960, a roadside vegetable market was put in. Business grew and more buildings were constructed. A restaurant was added in 1975. Fashion Farm is a family owned business, with a friendly, down-on-the-farm atmosphere, surrounded by memories of yesteryear. Pumpkin Fantasyland: Opened fall of 1972. Comprises over
100 displays, all made from pumpkins, gourds, and squash. A special
theme is adopted each year. It is a fall wonderland for all ages. Fantasyland
is open from October 1 through October 31 each year. |
